Application of GPS on plague prevention and control in Hebei Province

Objective To enhance the data of plague surveillance move accurately scientifically and reliably by introducing GPS to our plague prevention and control.Methods GPS was used to collect the data in plague surveillance and dealing with plague epidemic area.Results The accurate localization and the navigation records of GPS can accurately determine the concrete position of sample.The satellite navigation can quickly find out the position of tramps samples had keen investigated and historical epidemic spot.Conclusions Applying of GPS on plague prevention and control has made the antiplague work more scientifically,the plague surveillance more efficiently.
