Changes of fluorides content in water and to build and to used of low fluorides wells of nation monitoring points of endemic fluorosis in 16 years in Jilin

Objective To collected results of fluorides content in water and to build and to used of low fluorides wells of monitoring in 1991 to 2006,summarizing the experience,find problems,to provide scientific basis for establish correct strategies.Methods 7 monitoring points established in Qianan county jilin province,To investigated construction number to used and to manage of low fluorides well,Detection fluorides content in water of 10 resident and statistics actual benefit percentage of population in monitoring.Random 100 low fluorides wells and detection fluorides content in water and to investigated number and reason.for the wells discontinue.Results The rate to changed water before the monitoring in 252 village of Qianan county was only 64.7% and 52.80% for actual benefit percentage of population,To 2006,the rate of change water was 82.9% and 76.0% for actual benefit percentage of population the rate was increased 1.82 percentage points for 16 years.In 1998,serious ill areas already all to changed water.To examination 100 the low fluorides well which 12.3 % was exceed standard(1.5mg/L) and a few exceeds 4.1 mg/ L.During the year,insufficient nine months time to used the well was 6.7%.Fluorides content in water was undulatory and the difference between was 2.0 mg/L.Conclusions To change water was slow of monitoring county,be short of management,benefit rate was low which was important restricted factors to control the endemic fluorosis.
