The research progress on drinking brick-tea type fluorosis and the antagonism of antioxidant substances in brick tea

Drinking brick-tea type fluorosis,caused by long-term drinking high fluoride brick tea,is an specific endemic fluorosis in China,which has wide range of prevalence and causes damage seriously.Drinking brick-tea type fluorosis now is a serious public health issue in the western region of China.Tea contains mass active ingredients,which play a important role in anti-oxidant,anti-cancer,anti-aging and other bio-active effects.Antioxidant substances in brick tea,such as polyphenols,are important influencing factors for drinking brick-tea type fluorosis occurrence.The researching progress on this field will be reviewed on this paper.
