Objective To analyze the sodium hyaluronate( SH) on knee osteoarthritis( KOA) in the patients with synovial fluid interleukin-1 beta( IL-1 β),to explore its therapeutic mechanism. Methods 136 cases of elderly patients with KOA in our hospital from January to August 2013, were randomly divided into observation group and control group, respectively, the implementation of SH and physiological saline injection based on routine treatment, compared two groups of patients before and after clinical curative effect and the treatment of synovial fluid IL changes. Results In the observation group, 5 weeks after the treatment, ISOA score was significantly lower, and significantly lower than the control group( P 0. 05), the control group 5 weeks after the treatment, the ISOA score had no significant change( P 0. 05); 32 cases improved clinical observation group, 23 cases markedly effective, effective in 9 cases, the total efficiency of 94. 1%, control group clinical improvement in 7 cases, 10 cases markedly effective, effective in 18 cases, total effective rate was 51. 5%, total effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than the control group; the observation group after treatment for 1 week to see synovial fluid IL-1 β significantly reduced, and the treatment period was significantly decreased, after 3 months of treatment IL-1 β was still significantly lower than before treatment content( P 0. 05); the control group did not change significantly during the treatment of synovial fluid levels of IL-1 β( P 0. 05). Conclusion SH can effectively reduce the elderly KOA patients with synovial fluid levels of IL-1 β,it has good effect in reducing articular cartilage damage, promoting the repair of articular cartilage, and reducing the level of inflammatory mediators, can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients, ensure the quality of life, as no operation refers to the effective conservative treatment of elderly patients with KOA.
