Experience of bilingual teaching on pathophysiology

Objective To study and summarize the experience of bilingual teaching on pathophysiology course. Methods We carried out bilingual teaching of pathophysiology in five-year-schooling clinical students of Grade 2015 who participated in the lectures, and conducted a questionnaire to investigate the students' reflection of teaching effect.Results Most students appreciated bilingual teaching and firmly believed this new teaching pattern had improved their theoretical knowledge studying and English studying.Conclusion Bilingual teaching of pathophysiology was fit to be carried out in five-year-schooling clinical students at our medical school, and teaching syllabus, teaching quality assessment system and language ability of teachers and students still need to be improved.
