Clinical Analysis of Severe Brain Injury Combined with Cervical Spinal Cord injury

Objective To explore the diagnosis and treatment of severe brain injury complicated with cervical spinal cord injury.Methods 60 cases of brain in our hospital from March 2014 to September 2016 from injury complicated with cervical spine injury patients as the research sample,based on the damage time of the 60 patients were divided into two groups,experimental group(24 h) 30 cases, control group( 24 h) 30 cases,the two groups of patients with general information review analysis and comparison of two groups of mortality and long-term quality of life.Results the mortality rate in the experimental group was 10%,control group 6.7%,two groups had no statistically significant difference between mortality(P 0.05);two groups of long-term quality of life assessment(KPS)by using t test, t=2.3148,P 0.05,the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05),the experimental group prognosis significantly compared with the control group.The difference was statistically significant(P 0.05).Conclusion Early diagnosis and early treatment can improve the prognosis and reduce the disability rate,it is worth further study in the early diagnosis of severe brain injury complicated with cervical spinal cord injury.
