The histogical characters of digestive tract in chicken

The histology of digestive system of five Roman chicken have been observed. The results are as follows: 1) In esophagus, the basel cells of stratified squamous epithelium reach lamina propria and form a special "epidermal peg". 2) There is only one rind of compound tubular gland and no single tubular gland in the glandulor stomach. 3) The glands of glanulor Stomach locate in tunica submucosa. Tunica muscularis consists of three layers which are the inner longitudinal musculars, the outer longitudinal muculars and circle muscularis in between. 4) Pancth cell seems to be presented in the intestinal gland.
