Effect of Avian Leukosis Virus Infection on Immunized Efficacy of Newcastle Disease and Avian Influenza Vaccine

To investigate the effect of Avian Leukosis virus(ALV)infection on immunized efficacy of newcastle disease(ND)and Avian Influenza(AI)vaccine,ALV-p27 antigen was detected in a Henan local strains chicken farm by ELISA method,and the antibody levels of ND,AI(H_5)and AI(H_9)in infected and non-infected groups were detected,and the different immune effects between 1-day-old vertical transmission and late infection were compared.The results showed that the antibody levels of ND,AI(H_5)and AI(H_9)were significantly reduced by vertical transmission.In the comparison between the positive test group and the negative control group,the antibody titers for ND,H_9,H_5(Re-6),H_5(Re-7)and H_5(Re-8)were decreased by 1.71 log2,2.37 log2,1.59 log2,1.00 log2 and 1.79 log2 respectively.Moreover,antibody titers for ND and AI didn't show obviously drop in late ALV infection,and there was no significant difference between the positive test group and the negative control group.
