Screening of Differently Expressed Proteins in Eyelid Tissue of B6-Co Mutant Mice

In order to discuss the defect mechanism of the eyelid development in B6-Co mutant mice from proteomic level,this study used proteomic technology to analyze B6-Co mutant mice and B6 mouse eyelid tissue proteins,to screen differentially expressed proteins.The eyelid tissues of B6-Co and B6 mice were collected at embryonic day 16.5(E16.5),and proteins were extracted.29 different protein spots were selected through two-dimensional electrophoresis(2-DE),7 of which were up-regulated and 22 of which were down-regulated.By mass spectrometry combined with database retrieval,we successfully identified 6 upregulated and 18 down-regulated differentially expressed proteins.The results showed that the developmental defect of eyelid in B6-Co mice is strongly linked with differently protein expression in B6-Co mice at embryonic stage and the related mechanism is expecting for further research.
