Preparation and Determination of Bioactive Peptides in Pig Placenta

ZHANG Shang-wei;HUANG Da-peng;College of Animal Science & Veterinary Medicine,Heilongjiang Bayi Agricultural University;
The study was performed to determine the content of placental peptide in placenta and its molecular mass.A total of 6 newly delivered fresh pig placenta was distributed into 6 groups,the molecular mass and content of placental peptide were measured by Tricine-SDS-PAGE and Coomassie brilliant blue G-250.The data of each repeating group were averaged to represent the placenta peptide content and the relative molecular mass of each placenta at each level.The results showed that the molecular mass of placental peptides in the six groups were 14.219,13.801,12.012,12.357,11.326,10.197 ku,respectively.The average level was 12.31 ku±1.51 ku.As for the contents of placental peptide,the results were 0.67 mg/g±0.07 mg/g,0.82 mg/g±0.03 mg/g,0.81 mg/g±0.02 mg/g,0.70 mg/g±0.11 mg/g,0.79 mg/g±0.03 mg/g,0.84 mg/g±0.04 mg/g,respectively.The average content was 0.77 mg/g±0.03 mg/g.
