Progress on Resistant Mechanism of Tigecycline to Klebsiella pneumoniae

Klebsiella pneumoniae is one of the main pathogens causing nosocomial infection,and the situation of multiple drug resistance is serious,the drug resistance rate is continuously rising,which brought serious threat in clinical treatment.Tigecycline as a new antibiotic is the one of the treatment choice to defense multidrug-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae infection,however,the emergence of the tigecycline resistant Klebsiella pneumonia,has largely restrited its use in cinical medication.The mechanism of resistance is mainly related to AdeABC efflux pump,OqxAB efflux pump,KpgABC efflux pump,Tet(A)mutants and ribosomal proteins.We summarized the resistant mechanism of Klebsiella pneumoniae to tigecycline in order to provide a theoretical reference for the prevention and control of the tigecycline resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae.
