The Chef and the Cook Culture in Liaoning Province

The Chef written by Xu Rongguang is the biographical literature work on the first cooking champion, Liu Jingxian's legendary life. The work expresses the inheritance and development of the long-lived Manchu cooking culture populated in Liaohai area. The work also discusses on the local food materials, the traditional Manchu dishes, court dishes, the cooking skills in different places as well as the healthy cooking theories, which not only shows the legends of the cheft, Liu Jingxian, but also outlines the characteristics of infusion and localization in Liaohai area.
