Four Questions on the Studies on Transnational Identification of Miao Nationality

The transnational identification of Miao Nationality is a hot topic in the academia,which involves in many scholars and experts from the world,and formed two groups with two different views.One is the westerners as the main body who argues the"hmong"nominated by themselves is not Miao Nationality themselves,but an independent nationality;"Miao Nationality"is imposed by China Government on"hmong".The other is Han scholars and someones from Miao Nationalities in China for whom they argues that"hmong"is not only the self-defined appellation,but also the ones who hold such appellations distributed in three dialects areas;Miao Nationalities abroad often adopts this kind of self-defined appellation,for they are part of Miao Nationality,but not another nationality.The transnational identification is related with the integrity of historical culture of Miao Nationality,but involves with benefits of Nations.
