Analysis of Burning State in a Coal-fired Utility Boiler

In this paper,a 50 MW coal-fired utility boiler is studied.Burning state is analyzed through numerical simulation.The results indicate that temperature in the area up crust block duct is about 100 degree lower than that in the area below crust block duct and the temperature in the middle area is the highest.This distribution of temperature could cause the under part and middle part of crust block duct to easily slag off.With numerical simulation,the burners of this boiler are studied.To solve the problems existing in these burners,two schemes are put forward and compared.
