Structure and Characteristics of Wet Cooling Tower Fill in Coal-fired Unit

The wet cooling tower is one of the most important components of coal-fired units.There are three forms in surface shape of conventional packing,namely,drip-type,thin-film type and bit thin film.Different structural characteristics of the tri-type fillers and the matching tower structure are introduced to analyze the influence that the structure type,water drenching density and other factors of fillers have on the outlet water temperature of cooling tower and economical efficiency of the power plant unit.
