Study on PTC Thermosensitive Ceramics with Low Resistivity and Current Control Protector Made of It

This paper reports process of fabricating BaTiO_3 based PTC thermosensitive ceramics with low resistivity for current control protectors by adding double-donor (Sb ̄(3+),Nb ̄(5+))and ASTL frit to it. Effects of donors, acceptors ,and other trace elements and the frit on properties of the PTC ceramics are discussed.In the meantime the current control protectors with switching temperature 120℃ made of above-mentioned materials are reported.
