SILICATE MELT TEXTURE AND LIQUID IMMISCIBILITY

This paper presents the features of silicate melt texture and liquid itnrniscibility. The calculatedNBO/T vaues show that the melt textures of mesostases and immiscible iron-rich and silica-rich glasses in basalts are different, and there exist internal relations between silicate melt texture and liquid immiscibility. On the other hand, based on the silicate melt texture the component influence on liquidimmiscibility is explained.
