The study of geochemical characteristics of the Tianqiao Pb\|Zn deposit in terms of sequence stratigraphy, sedimentary facies, mineral facies section, trace elements, REEs, lead isotopes, inclusions, etc., indicated that stratoid lead\|zinc ores occurring in the transgressive system of retrograding type are genetically connected with the specific environment at a certain stage of Liupanshui taphrogenic trough evolution. Ore fluid found its way upwards along the boundary fault of the taphrogenic trough and forced itself into interstices of the overlying strata. As a result, the ore fluid replaced the country rocks and was involved in diagenesis\|catagenesis and multi\|episode superimposition and transformation, which are the characteristic features of the Tianqiao Pb\|Zn deposit.
