About apparent stress change of Xinyuan-Hejing M_S6.6 earthquake in the year 2012

In this paper, using the data of small earthquakes recorded since 1970 and broadband digital seismic wave recorded from January 2009 to December 2012, the hypocentral parameter and apparent stress of Xinyuan-Hejing MS 6.6 earthquake is calculated with the program SWAS based on Matlab platform, and the apparent stress change characteristics is also analyzed. The main results show: there is a linear correlation between the magnitude, the logarithm of the seismic moment, the corner frequency, the rupture radius of the source and the moment magnitude; There is also a certain correlation between the magnitude and the value of the apparent stress; the seismic apparent stress has obvious the characteristics of "high value—down—the high value occurred earthquake—reduced after earthquake ".
