Crustal structures of the Handan and its surrounding areas from receiver functions

We collect high quality waveforms of teleseismic events which are recorded by Handan seismic network and use H—κ stacking method to calculate the average crustal thickness and Poisson's ratio in the study area(Hebei-Shanxi-Henan-Shandong border region, 35.0°—38.0°N, 112.5°—116.5°E).In order to obtain reliable receiver functions, certain conditions are needed to be met; The result is that crust thickness changes have obvious characteristics of regional distribution. The crust thickness is about 38—41km in west of Taihang mountains. The regional crustal thickness is about 31—34 km in east of Taihang mountains(Handan, Xingtai and Henan). And crust thickness increases slightly with range around 32—35 km in Shandong region with a general rule of thinning gradually from west to east. The mean of Poisson's ratio is 0.251, basically consistent with previous research results.
