Fast matching algorithm based on edge information

gray template matching algorithm based on Ncc correlation is widely used in object location and object recognition, but there are still many shortcomings, such as large computation and time-consuming template creation. In order to solve the problems above speed, through the removal of burdensome information template method preserves the image characteristic information and speeding up the template creation speed and search speed. Finally, in addition to the stability of this algorithm with NCC, SSDA, FPC were compared. The experimental results of surface modified NCC algorithm not only inherits the advantages of NCC search precision and stability and a substantial increase in speed.
