Spatial-Dimension-Based Measurement and Analysis on the Marginal Effect of Scientific and Technological Innovation on Economic Growth Quality

Exploring the marginal effect of scientific and technological innovation on the quality of economic growth is of enlightening significance to implement the concept of innovative development in the new economic situation and boost economic growth in a sound,coordinated and sustainable manner.Taking Anhui province as an example,the entropy weight method is applied to comprehensively measure the quality of economic growth and the level of scientific and technological innovation.The impact effect of scientific and technological innovation on the quality of economic growth is investigated by combining the partial least squares analysis and the path analysis.Results show that:(1)the comprehensive index of economic growth quality is ranged in 0.376 5-0.626 5 with the mean of 0.481 6,the quality of economic growth is not high as a whole with obvious homogeneous characteristics,the comprehensive index of science and technology innovation is averaged at 0.184 3,and the variation coefficient is as high as 131.88% with large spatial difference.(2)The elastic coefficients of capital input,scientific and technological innovation and regulation on economic growth are 0.025 836,0.0107 56 and 0.056 98 respectively,of which scientific and technological innovation is an important driving factor for economic growth quality.(3)The direct elastic coefficient of scientific and technological innovation on the quality of economic growth is 0.00558,and the indirect elastic coefficient is 0.005176,indicating the direct impact larger than the indirect impact.Based on the research results,the corresponding policy suggestions are proposed from four aspects of insisting on innovation and leadings.
