Comparative Analysis of Operational Efficiency of Pilot Carbon Trading Market

since 2013,China has launched the carbon emissions trading pilot in seven provinces and cities,accumulating experiences to establish a national unified carbon trading market.Taking the seven pilot projects as the research object,the operational efficiency of each market is compared from the aspects of market operation efficiency,economic benefit,social benefit,environmental benefit and energy consumption emission control.The results show that the differences in the design of the trading mechanism result in the differences in the performance of the operation efficiency,which makes it difficult to achieve the goal of multiple parties in the design of the exchange mechanism.Therefore,the complexity of establishing the national unified market in our country should be fully aware.By drawing lessons from the European union,fully taking domestic condition in to consideration,it is suggested understand the stage of the development of our carbon trading market and accordingly introducing new rules and laws,optimizing the carbon market mechanism,improving the operation efficiency of the carbon market,and truly achieving the goal of low carbon development,energy saving and emission reduction.
