Analysis of the Insertion Loss of the EMI Filter

Based on the equivalent circuits of common-mode and differential-mode for the genetic EMI filter,this paper analyzes the effects of the source and load impedances on the insertion loss of filters in detail.A method to calculate the insertion loss of common-mode and differential-mode is presented.This paper derives the relation between insertion loss of the EMI filter and the impedance.The simulation of this relationship is discussed.Results have verified the correctness of the theoretical calculation and analyses.
