Study on Polarization and Direction Pattern of aNontracking Antenna for GroundtoAirCommunication on a Ground Station

Zhang Errong Li Jingchun Li Qutang Liu Pengcheng (The 54th Research Institute of MEI) (Dep of MTE, Xidian Univ ) [BHDWG10,WK133mmZQ0W]
In order to obtain satisfactory results in communication, the polarization and pattern of a nontracking antenna for groundtoair communication on a ground station should match those of the beacon antenna of an aircraft and must be taken into account as a whole when the vertical dipole is used as the beacon antenna of an aircraft, this paper emphasizes that the antenna on ground must use the “ ” mode pattern of polarization in the θ direction The new concept is bound to help us to study and develop a new kind of antenna
