Design of Gas Raman Single Photon Detector Based on the APD

According to the characteristics of Raman scattering light,a silicon avalanche photodiode is used to compose of multi-pixel doubling device as a photoelectric converter. To reduce noise during detecting,the detector has modules of reverse bias supply with low ripple voltage,temperature control and fast avalanche suppression module. Moreover,it owns a test module which is exclusively for the study of avalanche phenomenon,and the performance is optimized by adjusting circuit parameters. The results indicate that the detector has high detection sensitivity,rapid analysis speed,small size and low power consumption,suitable for using in Raman gas analysis system.
