Design of Remote Monitoring System for Intelligent High Voltage Transmission Tower

In order to overcome the disadvantages that the traditional manual inspection and the sensor monitoring mode exists,this paper designs an intelligent burglar-alarm monitoring system for high voltage transmission tower based on the combination of embedded technology and sensor technology. The monitoring terminal collects the video image information and the working status of each sensor,using 4G network to transmit to the monitoring center for analysis and processing. The monitoring terminal hardware and software design and monitoring center are presented based on Qt Creator centralized management software design. System test results show that system operation is stable and reliable,intelligent monitoring effect is good,and it can effectively enhance the power grid security capabilities.
