Re-Os Dating of Molybdenite from the Shesuo Copper Polymetallic Ore in Shenzha County,Tibet and Its Geological Significance

The Shesuo copper polymetallic ore deposit is located in 4km of south of Xiongmei Town,Shenzha County,Tibet.It is one of several deposits in the northern part of the Gangdis ore belt under the production at present.The age of Re-Os isotime line from molybdenite is 116.2±1.9 Ma,with an average model age of 115.7±1.3 Ma.Therefore,the age of Shesuo copper polymetallic ore deposit is likely 116 Ma and the product at late Yanshan epoch.Its age is obviously different from that of Gangdise ore belt,but similar to that of Bangong Co-Nujiang belt.This deposit should be the result of postcollision after the closure of Bangong Co-Nujiang suture belt and its ore-forming material may be closely related to the crustual source.
