The Performance Analysis of Transversal Equalizer in DS-SS System

In Direct-Sequence Spread-Spectrum (DS-SS) system,Transversal Equalizer (TE) can combat multipath interference effectively.Based on the model in [2],the steady state solution of TE is given in this paper.lt shows that the steady state performance is mainly decided by the correlation coefficient between the effective signal and the interference. However, the coefficient is time-variant in practical in practical systems,The simulation demonstrates that it is located in [0,0.3] with a Probability about, which proves that TE can combat multipath interference effectively compared to the matched filter receiver. Additionally, we analyze the effects to the system performance by other parameters.
