Research on High Linearization of Externally Modulated Optical CATV Transmitter with Feedforward Compensation

This paper presents the principles of externally modulated transmitter,and analyzes the different ways of non linearization compensation on the system.The key technologies related to the method of feedforward compensation are mainly discussed,including the theoretical principles,system architectures,and factors affecting system performance (bias control,time delay etc.).
