Combinational Estimation and Location Accuracy Analysis in Bistatic/Multistatic Radars

The feasibility of combinational estimation for redundant data using Markov estimator in bistatic/multistatic radars has received little attention so far.It is with respect to this particular issue that the present research is undertaken and a theorem is presented.It is theoretically discovered that if there are same components in two measurement subsets the combinational estimation for redundant data can not be made.Simulation is made in the situations where combinational estimation is feasible.The simulation results show that much better positioning performance can be achieved in bistatic/multistatic radars,especially in the region of the base line,the side line,and the neighbor region of the transmitter station and the receiver station.
