Transmission and Scanning Electron Microscopic Observation of the Epthelium of Seminal Vesical in the Rat

We have observed the epithelia of the seminal vesical in sexual mature rat with TEM and SEM (Freeze Creaking Method). The observing results of TEM and SEM all verify that there are four kinds of secretory substances in the secretory cell. Their shapes and structures are different. Three of them are secreted by apocrine and the rest is by macroapocrine. The latter's way that the secretory cells produce and transfer the secretory substances is different from the classical way that the cells of exocrine glands do. The mophology of apiculus of secretory cell has two shapes: one has microvillia, and the apical surfaces of the cell in another one are smooth and often projecting to the lumen of glands. Two kinds of cell distribute regionally. This article has mophologically probed into the production, transportation of the secretory substances in the secretory cell. The cause of the regional distribution has also been approached.
