Morphological characters of Phytophthora Capsici Leonian hyphae growth inside host were observed with electron microscope by ultrathin section techniques. Hyphae, which infected cortial organism from aerial shoots of chilli, growed cell cavity and also growed intercellular space. Hyphae growing intercellular space were fissiparous by method of cell wall sunken or budding propagation. And they passed through cell wall of host by method of infection subers and then expended rapidly between cell wall and membrane. But the expanding parts were not haustoria. And they became two hypha cells from both sides of the cell wall by fission. In the mean-time, the perforated host cell walls also closed themselves and repaired to integrity. The heighten of electron compact substances were observed when hyphae cell walls were sinking or infection subers were passing through cell wall of host
