Kinetics of iron-joined crystal in self-fluxing sintered pellet containing coal

Iron joined crystal is the metal framework of pellets containing coal of high temperature. In reduction condition with reaction temperature 600~700℃, matted crystal of iron is formed. There was a critical temperature (700~750℃) in formation of the iron joined crystal. Experiment proved that iron joined crystal could not be formed below the critical temperature. When the heating rate was fast enough, the iron joined crystal could be formed. Besides, solid solution of carbon was a function of the reaction time. The quickly increasing the reaction temperature is an effective method of enhancement of the strength of pellets containing coal.
