Backscattered electron detection and the charactetistics of cathodoluminescence of the minerals in A-type granitoids from Boziguoer,Baicheng County,Xinjiang

The research on the mineralogical characteristics of A-type granitoids in southwest Tianshan,Baicheng County,Xinjiang was made by means of the backscattered electron images of electron probe microanalyzer,cathodoluminescence emission analysis.The results indicate that the major rock-forming minerals of A-type Granitoids are quartz,albite,K-feldspar,aegirine,arfvedsonite,and siderophyllite.The accessory minerals are mainly zircon,pyrochlore,thorite,fluorite,monazite,bastnaesite,xenotime and so on.CL images show that zircon has the typical structure of dark core and light rim.
