Research of double-Matrix CCD-Based Speed Monitoring System

According to the demand of Speed Monitoring in traffic system,a method based on double-Matrix CCD is introduced in this paper. We designed the hardware of the system, and suggest use computer control the CCD to capture the motion picture,analyse the signal,and calculate the speed of motional subject.We use difference-arithmetic as timing-trigger, improve the precision of the system. The results of experiment shows the method is effective.
