How Nanchang Power Plant Dealt with Abrasion Problems Caused by Boiler Fly-Ash

Focusing on the low steam temperature and serious fly ash abrasion problem incurred by Nanchang Power Plant's 420t/h boiler, a thermal recalculation and a cold air velocity field test(CAVT) was conducted; based on which the burner was pitched up, an infrared combustion boosting zone set up, air distribution and coal dust spraying remodelled and a flow equalizing screen installed, which considerably improved the boiler's operational reliability.
