Comparison of Chlorophyll Extraction Methods in Camellia oleifera

In order to find out the best extraction method of chlorophyll in Camellia oleifera,the effects of five different extraction methods on the extraction of chlorophyll were studied,with Camellia oleifera leaves of Changlin 4 as experimental material.The results showed that different extraction methods showed significant differencethe,mixed reagent of acetone and ethyl alcohol in ratio of 2∶1 had the best effect,followed by the mixed reagent of acetone and ethyl alcohol in ratio of 1∶1,then the mixed reagent of acetone,ethyl alcohol and water in ratio of 4.5∶4.5∶1,80% acetone and95% ethanol had relatively poor effect.The mixture of acetone and ethanol in ratio of 2:1 is suitable for the extraction of chlorophyll from Camellia oleifera.
