Surveillance analysis of health status among some primary and secondary school students in Pudong New Area,Shanghai(2014-2017)

Objective To investigate the health status and variation trend among some primary and secondary school students in a district of Shanghai City from 2014 to 2017,to provide basis for further prevention and control of common diseases among primary and secondary students. Methods Data of physical examination of primary and secondary school students in Pudong New District of Shanghai City from 2014 to 2017 was selected,and SPSS18. 0 statistical software was used to carry out statistical analysis of physical examination data. Results The detection rate of the first six common diseases from high to low in turn in primary and secondary school students in Pudong New District of Shanghai City from 2014 to 2017 was poor vision( 51. 34%),saprodontia( 24. 63%),malnourishment( 22. 86%),dental irregularity( 16. 27%),overweight/obesity( 10. 41%),rhinitis( 4. 01%),the detection rate of poor vision was still in the first six kinds of common diseases,the detection rate of saprodontia,malnourishment was declining,and poor vision,overweight/obesity and rhinitis was on the rise( P 0. 05). Compared with primary school students,secondary school students had significantly higher detection rate of poor vision,malnutrition,dental irregularity,overweight/obesity,and significantly lower detection rate of saprodontia,rhinitis( P 0. 05). The detection rate of poor vision and saprodontia in girl students was significantly higher than that in boy students,while the detection rate of malnutrition,weight and obesity in boy students was significantly higher than that in girl students( P 0. 05). Conclusions The detection rate of common diseases among primary and secondary schools was still high in Pudong New District of Shanghai City,and the rate of poor eyesight was the top one among the common diseases. Targeted measures should be taken by relevant departments and schools in order to strengthen the prevention and control work of common diseases.
