Strength and Strength Grades of LWAs

Liu Xunbo (College of Materials Science & Engineering, Tongji University)  
On the basis of fracture mechanism of LWA concrete, a measurement method of effective LWA strength and rational concrete strength through concrete testing is advanced, and the strengths of 7 kinds of ceramisites made in China are measured. According to the rational LWA concrete strengths, the strength grades are divlded. and are regarded as the strength indices of LWAs in GB/T 17431 - 1998.
