The characteristics of instantaneous optical absorption of bacteriorhodopsin (BR) at different wavelengths of dye pulse laser and CW laser beams were investigated with an experimental system of “CW optical pump-probe+dye pulse laser pump”. Especially, the correlation between the optic-absorption kinetic characteristics of BR and the intensity and/or wavelength of CW pump-probe and dye pulse laser was studied.
