Improvement of Simulation Model of Sub-wavelength Hole Array on Silver Films

In analysis of optical extraordinary transmission of sub-wavelength hole array on silver film by normal finite-difference-time-domain(FDTD) method,distinctions between simulated and experimental results limit the application of FDTD on extraordinary transmission of hole arrays.Three-dimensional FDTD,eliminated the influence of the air-medium interface and greatly improved shape of the transmission peaks by modifying the simulation structure and properly selecting,setting the interface parameters,so the effect of relevant interfaces on optical transmission can be clearly reflected by FDTD,which is beneficial to further research on extraordinary transmission and application to the design and development of actual devices.Improvement of simulation model of sub-wavelength hole array on silver film helps essential study on extraordinary transmission so that the FDTD method with simple models and rapid speed could receive wider application.Furthermore,discussion about periodic interface parameters provides theoretical support for deep research on extraordinary transmission under oblique incidence.
