Study on Application of Oil origanum and Flavomycin in Dairy Production

oil origanum is a kind of additive which was extracted from a king of plant named oregano.This trial is to value the effects of oil origanum and flavomycin on milk quality. 20 China Holstein cows were divided into three groups, EI (25mg oil origanum and 8mg/kg flavomycin, 7 cows), EII(25 mg oil origanum and 50mg/kg monensin,7 cows) and C(control Group, 6 cows).In 60 days experiments, the results showed: The milk fat ration were improved by 14.62%and 14.20%in EI and EII groups compared with C, the milk protein ration and dry matter were improved by 12.50%, 11.92 %and 5.74%, 5.84%separately. The milk quality of EI, EII were improved significantly (P≤0.05),but there are no difference in EI and EII。
