Regulation of dbcAMP on Growth and Carcass Composition in Pigs

Yan Dawei,Zhang Xi,Cheng Meiling,Liu Yong,Gao Shizheng
This experiment was done to evaluate the effects of dbcAMP on the growth and carcass composition in pig by subcutaneous injection and basic diets supplementation with different dosages. The results showed that 1.0 mg/kg by subcutaneous injection and 20 mg/kg by basic diets supplementation was the most suitable dosage. In the growing period, daily gain was increased by 13.61%and 15.41%(P0.05),feed/gain was decreased by 18.81%and 19.10%(P0.05)differently. In finishing period, daily gain and feed/gain were not influenced.and contents of T3, GH, IGF-I, cAMP, TG, HDL, VLDL, TP, ALB and GLOB in blood was increased(P0.05)and activity of lipase, ALT, AST and ALP in serum was improved remarkably(P0.05)by using dbcAMP. The results indicate that dbcAMP can promote pig growth and improve its carcass composition.
