Effects of N-carbamylglutamate on growth performance, blood parameters and serum free amino acid content of three yellow chicken

The current experiment was carried out toinvestigate the effects of dietary N-carbamylgluta-mate(NCG) on growth performance, serum biochemi-cal indexes and serum free amino acid content ofthree yellow chicken. A total of 180 21-day-oldthree yellow chicken with similar weight were usedand randomly assigned into 4 groups with 3 replicates per group and 15 chicks per replicate.The control group was fed with basal diet, groups 1 to 3was fed with basal diets supplemented with 0.4%, 0.5%, 0.6% NCG, respectively. The trial lasted for28 days. The results showed that:(1) The supplementation of 0.4% NCG was significantly higher thanthe control group in ADG(P0.05). The supplementation of 0.4% and 0.5% NCG(or the experimentalgroup one and two) significantly decreased ADFI and F/G than the control group(P0.05) on 28~56 d.(2)There was significant effect on TP and ALB among 0.4% NCG and control group.The 0.4% NCGwas the highest on GLO level and ALP activity(P0.05).(3) The 0.4% NCG was the highest on Arg、Lys、Thr compared with the control group on 28~56 d(P0.05). Above all, NGG could promote thegrowth performance and blood parameters of three yellow chicken and increase the contents of serumpart amino acid by supplementation of 0.4% NCG.
