Effects of Catalyst on Structures and Photoluminescence Properties of Graphene-like Nanoflakes

Graphene-like nanoflakes were synthesized on silicon substrates deposited with carbon dots and gold film by hot filament chemical vapor deposition. The structure,composition and photoluminescence(PL) properties of graphene-like nanoflakes were studied using scanning electron microscope,transmission electron microscope,micro-Raman spectroscope,Fourier transform infrared spectroscope,X-ray photoelectron spectroscope and Ramalog system,respectively. The results indicate that the introduction of carbon dots and gold changes the thickness and defects of graphene-like nanoflakes. Furthermore,they lead to the shift of PL bands and the change of PL intensity. According to the characterization results,the reason of PL shift in graphene-like nanoflakes was analyzed.
