Performance of electrostatic precipitator with long barbed nail corona electrode

A new kind of electrostatic precipitator with long barbed nail corona electrode is proposed in this paper. Our theoretical and experimental results have shown that the field strength,the voltage-current characteristics and the dust collection efficiency are higher than those of the wire-plate electrostatic precipitator.
