A study of a novel adsorbent adaptable to adsorption of sulfur dioxide

A new-type macromolecule adsorbent,which was synthesized by way of suspension polymerization from copolymeriztion monomers such as acrylonitrile and styrene,and crosslinking agent divinyl benzene in the presence of relative initiators,dispersants and open cell agents,was presented in the current paper. And the product was transferred into a porous-network carbonized resin when subject to high temperature. And then it displayed a good adsorbility to sulfur dioxide. What's important is that the effects of initiators,open cell agents,dispersants and ratio of water to oil on the properties of the said substance were observed.
