Treatment of film wastewater with hydrolytic acidification-aerobic process

The microbial degradation with hydrolytic acidification-aerobic process was investigated to charac-terize the biodegradability of the film wastewater containing many kinds of synthetic organic matter with CODcr concentration 2000 ~ 2500 mg/L. The experimental results demonstrated that the biodegradability (BOD5/CODer) of film wastewater could be raised from 0.46~0. 48 to 0. 54~0. 56 by hydrolytic acidifica-tion. The hydrolytic acidification-aerobic process results in good removal of BOD5 (97% ) and CODcr (95%)respectively and suggests the saturation constant (Ks) of 103 mg/L and the maximum specific substrate uti-lization rate (K) of 5. 0 d-1.
