Experimental Research on Factors Affecting Desulfurization Mechanism of Fungi

The research relating to coal desulfurization using fungi achieved pretty good sulfur removals: 43.75% for total sulfur; 54.84% for inorganic sulfur. The experiments consisted of screening and cultivation of a pure fungus, coal samples preparation and bio-desulfurization in the lab. Major affecting factors were studied for determining optimum conditions.
